M&B Cragganmore<\/strong>, 27 Jahre alt, <\/span>Single Cask<\/strong> Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky mit 46,5%vol. aus einem American oak <\/span>ex sherry<\/strong> cask<\/span><\/p>\n

Appearance:         <\/p>\n

Bright amber \u2013 fades polished mahogany. No beading at this strength. American oak ex-sherry cask<\/p>\n

Aroma:                <\/p>\n

A mellow nose-feel no prickle; nose-drying overall. Initially relatively closed, but sweet and syrupy overall. The top note is of moist Christmas cake, well-seasoned with brandy, or perhaps brandy butter on the side and a trace of vanilla ice cream. Fresh (green) oak as a base note. A drop of water increases the vanilla note, and moves the Christmas cake to sticky toffee pudding with butterscotch biscuits.<\/p>\n

Palate:                 <\/p>\n

A creamy texture. A sweet taste, with an oaky mid-palate, carrying through to the aftertaste and some light spice in the lengthy finish. The taste reflects the aroma well. A drop of water enhances the spicy element.<\/p>\n

Comment:             <\/p>\n

An excellent and unusual example of this under-estimated Speyside malt.<\/p>\n
